Porsche has unveiled a new user-controlled sports exhaust system that improves the car’s exhaust note.
A button on the centre console controls a flap in each of the twin exhaust system’s silencers, varying the sound of the exhaust according to the engine’s speed and load. This results in a punchier, more sporting exhaust note.
The new Porsche sports exhaust system is available on Carrera and Targa 4 models, and will cost around £1700 when it goes on sale in April. Existing customers will also be able to purchase the new sports exhaust system as a retro-fit option.
