Warm hatch achieves more than 60mpg and sub-120g/km CO2 emissions

Seat’s sporty Ibiza FR range is now available with a diesel engine.

The 141bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel unit ensures the warm hatch is capable of achieving more than 60mpg, with CO2 emissions of just 119g/km.

It can get from 0-62mph in 8.2sec and go on to reach a top speed of more than 130mph. It comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Other standard features include climate control, ESP with a ‘virtual’ limited-slip differential built in and FR styling details inside and out.

The Seat Ibiza FR TDI is available in both three and five-door guises and deliveries will start in March. It will cost from £16,465.

Not really, when you consider a 1.6 TDCI 90PS Ford Fiesta Titanium is £16k.

Wife hates Skoda's?????? I think it is a badge thing. The Leon FR TDi was £18900 RRP with options we got a 2K discount overall off the Leon. I felt the Leon whilst not having such a good interior as the VRs did look more sporty and as said could not get the wife to even go near a Skoda dealership!!!
