Morgan will launch a new 2+2 concept at the Pebble Beach Concours show in the US in August.
Charles Morgan, grandson of the British company’s founder, told Autocar at the Geneva motor show that the concept previewed an all-new Morgan model that is set to go into production in 2012-13.
The 2+2 will be positioned halfway between Morgan’s traditional models and its more sophisticated Aero, priced from around £40,000.

Re: New Morgan concept in August
You're right, although it's not impossible that they've lengthened the chassis of the Aero on which the LIFEcar is based to make room for two more seats.
However the more I think about it, the less likely that seems, as it would probably require a lot of effort on Morgan's part. Plus if they're looking at charging £40k for it then I don't see them recouping the costs, particularly as the Aero 8 comes in at about £70k and this is stated as being a level down from that.
Equally I can't see it being a completely new-from-the-ground-up model either, for much the same reason. Having considered it, I think it is most likely to be a fixed-head coupé version of the existing 4-Seater, possibly with a few revisions. The V6 4-Seater is around £40k anyway, and would provide a good starting point for a coupé.
Re: New Morgan concept in August
Isn't Life just two seats? and the new concept a +2 so a longer wheelbase?
Re: New Morgan concept in August
It's still doing the rounds at various motorshows and the like, as far as I know. I wonder if this new concept could be a near-production-ready version?
