The new Focus is the first model to be developed under CEO Alan Mulally’s ‘One Ford’ strategy; it will be the firm’s first truly global car, spawning 10 variants from electric cars and MPVs to a third-generation Focus RS.
Ludmann has previously overseen development of the Ford S-Max from concept to launch and the current generation Ford Mondeo.

Re: Ford Focus chief quits
why do they keep telling us every new model is going to be the first world car, I can remember them doing this as far back as the mk3 escort, its even why the Mondeo is so named
as for how this look it just follows the pattern, design something sharp looking like the mk1 and then over each generation bloat it out
Re: Ford Focus chief quits
I agree , by Ford standards it is wonderfull. The Mk3 Focus looks like an overblown Fiesta.
