Lexus has unveiled this F Sport version of its CT200h hybrid hatchback at the Australian motor show in Sydney.
The F Sport package adds both performance and styling upgrades, including a front end inspired by the IS-F. Other styling changes include a new rear bumper, new alloy wheels and special F Sport badging.

The interior changes include unique trim, an F Sport steering wheel, sports pedals, a new instrument panel and privacy glass.
The F Sport’s key dynamic change is the addition of Lexus’s 'body performance damper’. These lateral dampers, Lexus claims, increase torsional rigidity, suppress vibrations and boost ride comfort without adding extra weight.

The F Sport trim level is unlikely to be offered to British buyers as a distinct trim level. However, the dynamic and styling upgrades are likely to be offered as individual options. Australian buyers will be able to order the F Sport trim level in the first half of 2011.

Re: Lexus reveals CT200h F Sport
Oh, dear. I'm not a fan of spruced-up cars, anyway, but to give the CT a sporty look without the sporty performance seems a bit short-sighted. Especially on a so-called 'premium' sports hatchback aimed at the BMW 1-Series and Audi A3.
