Seat has revealed a new styling option for the Leon FR+, its well-equipped rival to the Golf GTI and GTD. The Supercopa pack comes from Seat Sport, and is named for the marque's long-running European race series.
Bumpers are modified front and rear, while special side skirts and a larger rear spoiler complete the bodywork changes that are confirmed by 'Supercopa' badging. The FR+'s 18-inch wheels are replaced with BBS alloys of the same size, and there are chrome finishers to the twin exhaust pipes. The kit is available in a range of paint shades including Speed Blue.
Picked as options, Supercopa specification would cost around £3000, but the pack adds just £750 to Leon FR+ prices, which start at £22,530 for the 168bhp TDI with manual six-speed box. A 208bhp 2.0-litre petrol is also available, and either engine can be paired with VW Group's six-speed DSG.
FR+ kit includes five-inch colour sat nav screen, DAB radio, Bluetooth with streaming audio, adaptive xenon headlamps and rear parking aid.

Re: Seat Leon FR+ Supercopa revealed
The Leons a bit of a mixed bag, they're definitely way behind now on interior quality, but each version i've driven, i've really liked.
The 265PS Cupra R in particular was brilliant, extremely fast and raw! I preferred it to the Golf R actually.
Re: Seat Leon FR+ Supercopa revealed
I'm not sure if it is just the colour of the pictured car, or something to do with the body kit but I think the new BBS wheels make the car look under wheeled, something the old straight spoke design never did.
Re: Seat Leon FR+ Supercopa revealed
I hope you are right about the run out for this Leon - I have always thought it was pretty hideous (like a squashed Altea or Toledo ) which is why I replaced my brilliant previous generation Leon Cupra with something other than a Seat.
I do hope the next one is better.
