Innovative Mobility, a German automotive manufacturer, has revealed its electric Colibri microcar at the Geneva motor show.
Designed to appeal to inner-city commuters and businesses, the Colibri has a range of 68 miles, one seat and a small 180-litre boot.
A 24kW electric motor propels the 440kg Colibri from 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds, and its top speed is a claimed 75mph.
The battery pack can be charged to 80 per cent in 20 minutes, according to Innovative Mobility, on a public charger.
Notable features include gullwing doors, a hybrid spaceframe chassis and a modern central touchscreen.
Measuring 2.75m long, 1.18m wide and 1.30m tall, the Colibri's diminutive footprint makes it ideal for tight parking spaces.
Innovative Mobility says that it plans to put the Colibri into production in late 2014, with the aim of building around 17,000 a year.
