Ferrari has begun a service campaign to upgrade the fuel tanks on all LaFerrari models delivered to customers so far.
The Maranello firm says there is no serious safety risk to owners and the procedure is not being treated as an official recall.
The job, which takes around eight hours, can be completed as part of the car’s standard servicing schedule.
As standard, all Ferrari models are sold with seven years of free maintenance. The LaFerrari costs around £1.15 million and is powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine in conjunction with an electric motor.

Well Granturismo, that's what most of them will end up doing....driving around Knightsbridge in 1st and 2nd gear making lots of noise and burning out clutches, if their lucky, and if they are unlucky, sitting in endless traffic jams around Hans Crescent. So yes, this probably is more appropriate!
And Bullfinch, I am with you on this childish streak running through such a previously august magazine, its getting really boorish. More Top Gear territory ...or in the old days Max Power!
