Land Rover Defender gets new option packs, Volvo reveals sailing-inspired specials, Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer gets 2WD option

Land Rover Defender buyers will be able to specify two new option packs from later this year. The Black Pack includes new paint applied to the roof, grille and wheel arches, plus upgrades to the interior including privacy glass. The Silver Pack adds a silver finish to the exterior trim, as well as new alloy wheels and lights.

Volvo has launched special sailing-inspired editions of its V40, Volvo V60 and Volvo XC60. The Ocean Race editions celebrate Volvo’s round-the-world boat race, and include special paintwork and alloy wheel designs. Inside, the models get new leather upholstery.

Vauxhall’s Insignia Country Tourer will be available in 2WD form from next month. Prices are expected to start at around £1000 below equivalent four-wheel-drive models, meaning an entry-level 2.0-litre CDTI would cost around £24,349.
