The new Mercedes S-class coupé has again been spotted testing in AMG guise.
Due to launch in 2015, this performance version of the S-class coupé sports a new, lower front bumper than the standard car along with redesigned air intakes and new AMG wheels. AMG exhaust outlets can be seen at the rear alongside redesigned LED light clusters.
The Concept S-class coupé was first seen at the Frankfurt motor show earlier this year. Conceived as a replacement for the current CL, the concept measures some 5005mm long, 1958mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2945mm.
The S63 AMG coupé will use the same eight-cylinder twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine as the S63 AMG saloon. That means 577bhp in total with 664lb ft of torque. It will also use the same seven-speed Speedshift MCT and is expected to have a top speed of 186mph.
Mercedes has said the Concept S-class coupé is "very close" to the styling of the production model. The brand has also confirmed that a convertible version of the S-class coupé is also in development.
