After returning from the final day at the Open (not an American in sight, Hurrah), I sat down to watch the replay of the whole of the Moto GP on Eurosport and went on to watch the highlights of the German GP.
As you say Paul, WOW! Moto GP is the best form of motorsport event currently running. I will agree that the German GP pushed it close this time though.
Casey Stoner had the gaulle to say the racing and overtaking was too frenetic in the first half of the race cullminating in him cruising upto the back of Valentino Rossi, slamming on the brakes and falling off in the sand. His comments in my view were totally uncalled for. Had he been the one to come out on top I doubt Valentino would have stooped slow low as to almost accuse his fellow RACERS of such antics. The whole point of motorsport is to race and Valentino took the fight to Ducati and won fare and square.
Hamilton proved yet again (despite comments about him on in another blog) to have the measure of the Ferrari's and bring it home with room to spare, proving he is the only British hope currently in F1.
Caeser ruled with an iron hand, then with a wooden foot and finally with a piece of string.
