Certain 2016 Porsche Macan models are being recalled in Britain because of an anti-roll bar fault that could lead to wayward handling.
102 UK-owned Macans built during the summer months of 2016 have been fitted with anti-roll bar connecting links that could fail and lead to unpredictable handling.
A failing anti-roll bar would reduce body composure, potentially leading to oversteer during fast-paced driving. A telltale sign that an ARB link has failed is a rattling sound.
UK owners with affected cars have already been contacted by Porsche. Owners have been advised to book an appointment with their preferred Porsche Centre for checks to be carried out. If any issues are found, the part is replaced free of charge.
245 US-owned Macans have also been affected by the same issue. A similar recall has been issued there.
