Italian styling house shows a sketch of its Alfa 8C-based concept for Geneva

Stile Bertone has released the first sketch of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione-based concept car that it will reveal at the Geneva motor show.

The Bertone concept will be one of two special Alfa concepts at next month’s show; they will be designed to celebrate the firm’s 100th anniversary. Pininfarina is the other styling house producing a concept and this will be a two-seater spider.

Stile Bertone was left independent when Alfa’s parent company Fiat took over the manufacturing side of Bertone’s business.

The picture gives little away about the concept, asides from showing the classic Alfa front grille and confirming that the car will use LED front headlights.

Both cars are billed purely as prototypes and have not been earmarked for production.

Alfa’s 100th anniversary celebrations will also form the basis of this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Re: Bertone teases Alfa concept

It reminds me of the Saab Aero-X concept for some reason. Waiting to see more pics.
