Saab's boss has admitted the company has whittled down its list of potential buyers to two, and said the preferred buyer could be named within two weeks.
In an interview with Swedish daily paper Dagens Industri, Saab chief executive Jan-Ake Jonsson said: "Now we are negotiating with just two parties. This can go fast now and should absolutely be wrapped up in a maximum of two weeks."
The two bidders in final negotiations are thought to be in negotiations are Swedish car maker Koenigsegg and Renco Group, an investment group based in the United States.
