The facelifted Peugeot 5008 has been unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show and will go on sale in the UK early next year.
Peugeot has released few details of the facelifted car, beyond highlighting its interior space, quality and practicality, all facets which buyers in the large MPV sector typically value.
However, these images reveal a midly tweaked exterior, with subtle changes to the front-end styling designed to show off a sleeker look, says Peugeot. In particular, new chrome trim around the front fog lights emphasises Peugeot's C-shape design language.
A subtle interior re-style can also be seen, and Peugeot has already said that its Heads Up Display for drivers will remain on the new model.
More information, including pricing and a UK on sale date, is expected to follow. The car was shown alongside the 208 FE Hybrid and the 308 R concepts.

I think you're confusing the 5008 for the 4007. The 4007 was basically a Mitsubishi Outlander underneath. The 5008 has nothing to do with Mitsubishi.

Nice Looking
You're right it's the 4007 that was rather ugly rebadged Outlander.
This is a good looking motor, glad to see Peugeot is back to making handsome cars.
The original is better
Is this still not a lifted version of the Mitsubishi? From friends who have taken the 5008 original which was a straight lift of the excellent Bishi they reported many faults which never appeared on the Japanese version, and reported that servicing costs were almost double. Anyone buying the French version have to be Gallic lovers or plain daft

You're confusing the 5008 with the 4007. The 5008 is based on the Citroen C4 Picasso/Pug 3008 platform and is purely PSA, no Mitsubishi involvement whatsoever.
