A Ferrari 599 GTO is set to be launched later this year, featuring several key features seen on the 599XX, driven exclusively by Autocar this week.
The GTO will be a more focused version of the 599 than the current GTB and HG TE models, and its imminent launch was confirmed by Ferrari boss Amedeo Felisa on a trip to Australia this week.

Power will likely be north of 650bhp, with a similar rise in torque and performance.
Weight will be reduced to les than 1650kg, and the car will also likely feature the higher performing ferous iron brake pad technology pioneered on the XX model (pictured here) plus, perhaps, the more aggressive gear shift software and certain elements of the aerodynamic upgrades seen on the 599XX.
The GTO will most likely be announced at the forthcoming Geneva show, with first customer cars being delivered in the summer, possibly as early as June.
Expect a price tag between £250-300k, depending on options.

Re: Ferrari 599 GTO 'this year'
I hope one of the changes is a redesign of the front lights / grille, a beautiful car with a bit of a silly face.
