French firm has shown off a pair of warm hatches at today's Geneva motor show

Renault’s created a pair of warm hatches for the Megane range with the addition of the GT and GT Line models, revealed at today’s Geneva motor show.

Also available on the new Coupe-Cabriolet, both models have reworked steering and suspension, and the GT uses components from the Megane Renaultsport 250.

The GT comes with either Renault’s 180 petrol engine or 160 diesel engine, and reworked power steering to work with the larger tyres that come as standard.

Brakes are upgraded, too, with larger discs and a Renaultsport master cylinder.

The GT Line comes with the less powerful 110 diesel, with Renault’s new dual-clutch transmission, or the 130 petrol turbo.

It gets the chassis settings from the Megane Coupé, which has stiffer springs and recalibrated dampers, compared to the hatch.
