World debut for new Honda Civic coupé and Si coupé in Las Vegas

The 2014 Honda Civic coupé has been shown for the first time at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.

The refreshed Civic coupé was shown alongside the new Civic Si coupé, with both models getting significant exterior styling changes including more aggressive front frill, new bonnet and front fender designs and redesigned headlight clusters.

The coupé also gets new tail-light designs and sportier front and rear bumpers with new wheel designs. The Si coupé also adds a bespoke lower front bumper design, plus a large rear spoiler.

Honda says it has also re-tuned the exhaust systems for both models, increasing power to 202bhp and torque to 174lb ft. The firm also announced its intentions to start selling performance and styling upgrade packages for its CR-Z hybrid.

A range of basic tuning upgrades will become available with a full supercharger package available from next year.

So much more attractive than the hideous blob we get here, bring this over here as the new Type-R since we aren't getting a 3dr version

Bullet-proof reliability

However Honda want to make their cars look, if they retain the durability of their cars then they'll always have my vote.
