Specially modified Brabus to see service with the Dubai police force

A new concept from Brabus promoting “responsible and safe vehicle tuning” will make its debut at the Dubai motor show this week.

The modified Mercedes G63 AMG, dubbed the B637 - 700 Widestar, has been tuned to 690bhp and will be used by the Dubai police force following its debut. The car is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine. It features all-wheel drive and has a top speed of 149mph, reaching 60mph in 4.9 seconds.

Other modifications include bespoke 23-inch wheels and Brabus's Dynamic Ride Control suspension system.

Brabus says part of the idea behind the police-liveried car is to raise awareness of the 'Tune It Safe' campaign to promote responsible vehicle tuning.
