The next-generation Infiniti G-series will be revealed at the Geneva motor show in March 2013.
Speaking to Autocar at the Moscow motor show, Infiniti's design chief Shiro Nakamura said the new model would be "much sportier and more dynamic thanthe current car".
Infiniti officials have previously confirmed the new G-series range, which includes saloon, coupé and convertible models, will be offered with four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines from Mercedes right from the outset of its launch.
The current car's potential in Europe has been blunted by only being available with a thirsty 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine.

Coupe form, looks good from the rear, bit like a GTR.
From the front, looks like the old Lexus coupe.
Still, good to see big Japanese coupes back!
