Missouri dealer finds novel way of stimulating sales - and upsetting liberals

A US car dealer has come up with a novel way of stimulating sales - by offering an AK-47 machine gun with every purchase.

Max Motors of Missouri has started the initaitive after the success of a trial offer in which buyers were offered either a $250 (£150) fuel voucher or a voucher for a gun store.

Mark Muller, owner of Max Motors, said the AK-47 offer has now been introduced "due to popular demand" but stressed he would only be handing out a voucher to be used at a registered gun store, not the actual guns.

Business Insider magazine reported, "Muller calls the initial deal an overwhelming success. He also says it generates a lot of publicity and really angers liberals."
