Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel claimed victory in Formula One’s season finale in Abu Dhabi, securing second place in the driver’s championship as a result.
McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton led the race at the spectacular Yas Marina circuit until the first round of pit stops but he had to retire soon after with a rear brake problem.

Vettel’s team mate Mark Webber held off Jenson Button’s late challenge to take second. Button’s third place was only his second podium finish in the last ten races.
Button’s team mate Rubens Barrichello finished fourth ahead of BMW’s Nick Heidfeld, while rookie Kamui Kobayashi took an impressive sixth in his Toyota.

It was a one lap race!, the last lap!, plus Jonathan Leggard pontificating about Lewis Hamilton, even after he'd retired from the race,Abu Dhabi looked fabulous, as you'd expect where money apparently does grow on trees!, roll on 2010, new cars ,new regs and no doubt something "gate" will again rear it's ugly head!
