Indonesian rally won by 13-year-old in a Subaru Impreza

A 13-year-old Indonesian schoolboy, Sean Galael, has won the first two rounds of the Indonesian KFC Junior Rally Sprint in a Group N Subaru Impreza.

Galael, whose Subaru Impreza is the same as ones that compete in the Production World Rally Championship, also co-drove in last year’s Indonesian Rally Championship.

He will co-drive again in the Indonesian Rally Championship this year, but is still too young to compete in the national series as a driver.

As a result, Galael is already being described as the WRC’s answer to Lewis Hamilton by Prodrive, which helps run and prepare the car.
