GM has confirmed its plans to sell the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro in Europe.
Sales of the iconic US muscle car have got off to a strong start in North America, with the car selling out in dealerships despite the financial crisis.

GM now hopes to cash on in the Camaro’s success in Europe, with Chevrolet Germany’s general manager Jurgen Keller confirming the car will be exported to the continent.
Prices and on-sale dates were not confirmed, but expect exports to start next year.

In the US, the car starts at $23,040 (£14,215) for the 3.6-litre V6 and a 6.2-litre V8 is also available in two states of tune.
Plans to modify the styling to meet European crash and pedestrian safety standards have also yet to be confirmed.
