Best new car deals and new car leasing deals for this week, including offers on the Peugeot 5008, Renault Clio, Honda Civic Tourer, Mercedes C-class and Vauxhall Astra

If you’re in the market for a new car, or after the best new-car leasing deal, you can save thousands with a little research. This is the pick of what our deals experts have found this week.

Best new car deals

Peugeot's 5008 is a decent contender in the crowded MPV market, and thanks to a new facelift deals can be had on the outgoing model. New Car Discount is offering a deal on the outgoing 5008 in 2.0-litre HDi Allure form for £18,442. That's a saving of £6,940 from the £25,382 list price.

Having run a 0.9-litre Renault Clio TCE on our long-term fleet in 2013, we know how economical the stylish new Clio can be. Car Cost is offering the same 0.9-litre TCE 90 ECO Dynamique MediaNav Energy model for £13,255, a saving of just over £1000 from the £14,445 list price.

Best new car leasing deals

Honda is offering its new Civic Tourer for £239 per month. The deal gets you a 1.8-litre i-VTEC model in standard trim, in return for a deposit of £4915.80 over a three-year contract. There's also a 10,000-mile annual limit.

The Mercedes-Benz C-class is an old favourite for company car buyers, and Yourfleet is offering an outgoing C220 CDi model in Executive trim for £399 per month. That's based on 10,000 miles annually over a three-year contract, and with a deposit of £1197.

Deal of the week

We return to New Car Discount for a very worthwhile offer, which could save you over £7000 on the price of a new Vauxhall Astra. The firm is currently offering a five-door 1.7-litre CDTi ecoFLEX SRi model for £14,047, instead of its £21,385 list price.
