BMW has revealed new Black Fire special editions of theBMW X5M and BMW X6M performance SUVs.
Due to go on sale in August, the cars are mechanically identical to the regular X5M and X6M, but have model-unique styling elements aimed at providing them with an added dash of exclusivity.
Living up to their name, the X5M and X6M Black Fire come exclusively with Sapphire Black Metallic paint, a black grille with black louvres, and carbonfibre mirror caps. They also get 21in black alloys that are 10in wide at the front and 11.5in wide at the rear.
Inside, the two cars get black and red leather upholstery, an anthracite-coloured headliner, electrically-adjustable front M-sport seats with integrated headrests, and black high gloss trim elements.
As with the standard X5M and X6M, the Black Fire models are powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine with 567bhp at 6000rpm and 553lb ft of between 2200 and 5000rpm.
Drive is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed torque converter-equipped automatic gearbox.
The SUVs can go from 0-62mph in 4.2sec and reach an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
Fuel consumption is officially 25.5mpg and CO2 emissions are 258g/km.
