All-electric racer concept gets a striking new paint job for a display at Citroen's C_42 showroom

Citroen has put a new Survolt Art Car on display in its landmark C_42 showroom on Paris’s Champs-Elysées.

Contemporary artist Francoise Nielly has created the Survolt Art Car. His design adds “a bold, vivid and brightly contrasting new fluorescent paint scheme” to the all-electric racer.

Citroen claims Nielly’s work was one of the inspirations for the Survolt in the first place and its design team has worked closely with the artist on the project.

The new season at C_42 also includes the award-winning personalised Citroen DS3, created by Flavio Melchiorre. His DS3 design was chosen as the pick of more than 700 entries for the inaugural Citroen Creative Awards and it will be launched in 2011 alongside a range of other personalised DS3 options.
