Production of the six-seater will be stopped this summer, with the last Honda FR-V expected to roll off the Japanese Suzuka production line in August.

Honda does not intend to replace the FR-V; the company says it will be able to cover the market with the Insight and Jazz.

In the UK, 13,531 FR-Vs have been sold since it went on sale in 2004.

The FR-V will continue to be sold in the UK while stocks last, with prices starting from £16,700.
