Kia has announced full details and pricing of the new Sportage

Kia has announced prices and the full range of the Sportage which will be available from 1 November.

The line-up includes four engines, with the new 1.6 litre direct-injection petrol providing power for the base model that will cost from £16,645. The other three engines are the diesel 1.7-litre CRDi, the 2.0-litre CVVT petrol unit and the diesel 2.0-litre CRDi.

The range is split into three trim levels called '1', '2' and '3' as with all Kia cars. The ‘2' trim level starts at £20,020 and the ‘3' starts at £21,595. All-wheel-drive is available on the '2' and '3' trim level and these models are given a KX preface.

The top of the range 2.0 CRDi KX-3 Sat Nav AWD Automatic will cost £26,170.

The top models are available with a fully integrated satellite navigation system, featuring a 7in colour touchscreen. Metallic or mica paint is a £435 option. See all the latest Kia Sportage reviews, news and video

Remember when Kias were cheap and generally dreadful...... I sometimes think many punters would now choose one over a Ford, with so much negativity the blue-oval seems to have taken recently on these forums.
