Lexus has confirmed its new CT200h will be sold in the United States.
The hybrid hatchback, which was unveiled at the Geneva motor show, will make its US debut at next week’s New York motor show.
Lexus expects the CT200h to be the class leader in terms of fuel economy and CO2 emissions.
The CT200h is powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine and twin electric motors. Power is sent through a CVT transmission to the front wheels.
It also features four selectable drive modes: normal, eco, sport and EV. These alter the car’s performance and steering response.
