Marcos has unveiled the new TSO GTC coupe at the Salon Privé Luxury and Supercar Show in Fulham, London.
The result of a year’s development of the original TSO cabriolet, the GTC uses a spaceframe with composite panels.
Under the bonnet is a version of the Corvette’s 6.0-litre V8, available in either 420bhp or 462bhp Performance versions. The latter shoots from 0 to 60mph in 4.1sec, 0-100mph in 8.5sec and on to a top speed of 185mph, with 50-70mph taking 2.1sec.
Handling has been developed in cooperation with Banbury-based rally specialist Prodrive – which also builds the car’s chassis – so expect a dynamic driving experience.
Alongside the regular TSO GTC, which costs £49,950, is a targa-style version, the TSO R/T, which comes with two removable roof panels.
The TSO will initially be sold through Worcestershire dealer David Gerald Sportscars.
