To celebrate 10 years of F performance sub-brand, Lexus will display Art Car version of LFA at this weekend’s endurance race

Lexus will display a uniquely painted LFA at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit this weekend.

The company will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its F performance sub-brand with a one-off Art Car version of the LFA. It will be presented at this weekend’s 24 Hours of Spa race, where the brand’s RC F GT3 coupé will make its on-track debut.

The LFA Art Car has been used as a canvas by Portuguese artist Pedro Henriques, with a striking black-and-white theme transforming the supercar’s exterior look.

Henriques claims his inspiration was “the idea of fluidity that’s present in contemporary life, where things are in constant movement and it is hard to freeze anything”.

The LFA’s 552bhp 4.8-litre V10 is unchanged for the Art Car, as is the interior. Just 500 LFAs were build between 2010 and 2012; an official replacement for the two-seater has yet to be confirmed.
