The new Nissan Micra DIG-S will cost from £11,150 when it goes on sale at the beginning of September.
Dubbed Micra DIG-S – for Direct Injection Gasoline Supercharged – the new car “offers the performance of a bigger petrol engine but with the fuel economy of a diesel”, according to Nissan.

The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine emits 95g/km CO2 with a 68.9mpg fuel-consumption figure. According to the company, “Unlike most economy models though, the DIG-S also has a performance boost, with power rising from 79bhp to 97bhp."
The Micra DIG-S also gets a stop-start function system as standard.

The DIG-S is available as a five-speed manual or with an optional advanced CVT automatic gearbox for an additional £1000.
When it goes on sale in September, the Nissan Micra DIG-S will cost from £11,150 for the entry-level Visia version, climbing to £12,150 for the Acenta and £13,650 for the range-topping Tekna model.
