Renault has announced that its electric Renault Twizy will be priced from £6690, when it goes on sale in the UK next year.
The ‘heavy quadricycle’ will be available in two specifications – entry-level Urban and £7400 Technic – both of which are powered by the same 17bhp electric motor, giving the Twizy a top speed of 50mph and range of 62 miles, according to the firm.
On top of this price, customers also pay £40 in battery leasing charges for a 36 month/4500 miles per year agreement.
