The Ferrari 488 Pista, McLaren 600LT and Porsche 911 GT3 RS are three of the fastest, most exciting and most revered trackday sports cars in the world at the moment.

All three deliver more than 500bhp and claim to hit 60mph in three seconds or less. Two of the three have a top speed of over 200mph.

But which is quickest in a straight line, and around a lap of Anglesey's Coastal circuit? And which is the most incredible to drive? Our back-to-back test is about to tell you.

ridiculous waste of energy reporting

exactly what percentage of Autocar readers are actually ever going to buy any of them? Isnt it about time Autocar fat bottomed over watered and overfed bozzos stopped enjoying their personal pleasures at readers expense and started reporting in more detail and unbiased efforts on cars we can actually buy and drive??

EVO did test the GT2 RS on the same circuit

Obviously different driver (the very talented Steve Sutcliffe) and different conditions make a direct comparison impossible, but I think it would be a very, very close call between Maranello and Zuffenhausen.
