Like the revised Citroën C1, tweaks to the 107's engine result in 99g/km CO2 emissions

A facelifted version of the Peugeot 107 has been revealed ahead of the city car’s UK on-sale date in February. The revised model now undercuts the important 100g/km CO2 emissions marker for the first time, while fuel economy is also improved.

Like the revised version of Peugeot’s Citroën C1 sister car revealed earlier today, tweaks to the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine result in CO2 emissions of 99g/km, making the 107 road-tax free as well as exempt from London’s Congestion Charge. Fuel economy has also improved from 63mpg to 66mpg.

Externally, changes to the new 107 include a redesigned bumper, which is deeper and lower and includes housings for fog lights. LED daytime running lights are available as an option.

Three trim levels are offered - Access, Active and Allure. Mid-spec Active trim features air-conditioning, whilst top-spec Allure models add alloy wheels, a rev counter, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

Prices for the new Peugeot 107 start from £7995 for the entry-level, three-door Active, rising to £10,545 for the top-spec five-door 2-Tronic Allure model.

Not great is it. The more angular front end is completely at odds with the rest of the car, giving a shrunken Yaris feel. Most of us on here aren't fans of the latest Yaris, so that's no good thing. Shame.

I'm sure they will be on here in a news article or two.
