Subaru has launched a new entry-level Legacy to its model line-up

Subaru has launched its new entry-level Subaru Legacy ES Nav to its five strong line-up.

Powering the Legacy ES Nav is the firm’s 2.0-litre boxer petrol engine, which produces 148bhp and 145lb ft of torque.

Power is transferred to the road via a six-speed manual gearbox through all four wheels. Subaru’s ‘Lineartronic’ CVT transmission is also available.

According to the company, the AWD Legacy with the manual ‘box will hit 60mph in 9.8sec and onto a top speed of 120mph whilst returning 32.8mpg and emitting 199g/km CO2. With the CVT option, these figures change to 11.3sec to 60mph, 34.9mpg and 187g/km of CO2.

Inside, the entry-level model gets a full colour sat-nav with touch-screen fitted as standard, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, dual zone climate control, alloys and an electric driver’s seat.

Prices for the Subaru Legacy ES Nav start from £21,995.
