THINK'S City EV is now available with four seats and features air-conditioning as standard

Electric car company THINK now offers its micro City car as a four-seat version – a first for the company.

The latest generation of its pocket-sized electric vehicle features air-conditioning as standard and comes with a five-year warranty (or 60,000 miles – whichever comes first).

The addition of two extra seats – which stow away incidentally – makes the City “unquestionably, the most attractive EV on the market,” according to THINK marketing chief, Michael Lock.

The company claims an electric range of up to 100 miles on a single charge, and although not on sale in the UK yet - rather in Norway - it's hoped by the firm that it will be available some time in 2011.

Prices for the THINK City will start at around £23,500 when it arrives.

Re: THINK City EV: room for four

considering they are asking the same amount of cash for it as the larger and more 'attractive' Nissan Leaf (that really is setting the bar pretty low) I cant imagine you seeing many of them on the road before the company folds. again.

At least there are two more people to push it when the charge runs out!

room for 4! Great so if you have a crash in one, instead of 2 people becoming statistics, now 4 people can! Amazing!

Even if people are now trying to be greener i fail to see why anyone would spend their hard earned money on this rubbish!
