The recently launched Mazda2 now features a new automatic model, the company has dubbed ‘Activematic’.
The 1.5-litre, petrol version, is coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission, returning 44.8mpg and 146g/km CO2. The sprint to 60mph takes 11.9sec with a top speed of 105mph.
Mazda has also announced the 2 ‘Tamura’, which adds 16-inch alloy wheels, and sports styling kit including side skirts, rear spoiler and four-lamp headlights to the existing TS2 model.
Prices for the Activematic start from £12,060 and £11,520 for the 1.3-litre Tamura.
The entry-level 1.3-litre TS costs from £9,995, rising to £14,455 for the range-topping 1.6-litre diesel sport, with economy figures of 67.3mpg and 110g/km CO2 emissions.
