Honda has a tradition of showing new concepts at the LA show; last year, it revealed the compact 1+2 P-NUT concept, while 2008 saw the launch of the stunning FC Sport three-seater hydrogen sports car that was said at the time to influence the styling of Honda’s future sports cars.
The new EV won’t be Honda’s only new exhibit at the show, however. It will also reveal a new plug-in hybrid platform that will showcase the next-generation of Honda’s hybrid technology, which is expected to be launched as a rival for the forthcoming plug-in Toyota Prius.

Re: Honda plans EV concept for LA
Honda's next generation of hybrid will be interesting. they have said before that the IMA system is best for smaller car applications.
Will they copy toyota, use the rear motor to get 4WD that PSA have developed, or have something completely new?
