New 2.0-litre diesel engine added to the range with two power outputs; styling upgrades also offered

Ford has added new diesel engines to its Kuga range, as it aims to boost performance, improve fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions.

The baby SUV will now be offered with new 138bhp and 161bhp versions of its 2.0-litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine. Customers are also able to equip all-wheel drive Kugas with Ford’s Powershift six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The 138 bhp and 161 bhp all-wheel-drive models with manual transmission deliver a six per cent reduction in CO2 emsisions compared with the previous 134 bhp engine. The engines also boasts improved performance and a broader spread of torque.

Ford is also offering a new Individual trim to the Kuga range, which includes a new front grille, side skirts and wheel arches, as well as 19-inch alloys and an upgraded interior.
