Mark Webber beats team mate Sebastian Vettel to pole in a crushing display from Red Bull

Red Bull dominated the opposition in qualifying for tomorrow's Spanish grand prix, with Mark Webber leading home Sebastian Vettel in a comfortable one-two for the title favourites.

Webber finished 0.106sec ahead of team mate Vettel, while third fastest Lewis Hamilton was almost a second further back.

Hamilton's McLaren will be joined on the second row by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and the Briton's team mate Jenson Button was in fifth. Michael Schumacher was next fastest in his Mercedes in sixth out-qualifying team mate Nico Rosberg, who was eight fastest, for the first time this season in the process. Renault's Robert Kubica split the two Mercedes drivers in seventh.

Down the field, Williams' Rubens Barrichello was the only driver from one of the established teams not to make it out of Q1; Lotus's Jarno Trulli was the fastest driver for one of the new teams, qualifying just behind Barrichello in 19th.
