House seller in California offers his rare Ferrari F40 as part of his house sale

A Californian house seller is giving away his rare Ferrari F40 free of charge with his Malibu home.

The F40 was one of only 1315 units to be made in Maranello and has less than 800 miles on the odometer.

The seller is offering the car with the $4,399,333 (£2.9 million) home until 30 June to encourage buyers.

The F40 was the first road-legal production car to be capable of reaching 200mph and held the title of the world’s fastest production car between 1987 and 1989, when it was eclipsed by the Lamborghini Diablo.

Horrid car. So ugly, badly-built, no sound proofing whatsoever, nasty turbo V8 blare.

If.

Any personal experience re. build quality and sound proofing? And let's face it, as far as ugliness is concerned, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
