Suzuki will showcase an updated, more efficient SX4 range at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
The new Suzuki SX4 gets new engines with more power, but lower CO2 emissions, plus cosmetic updates.
A more efficient 1.6-litre petrol engine uses variable valve timing and a modified cylinder head to help to cut CO2 emissions by about 10 per cent over the engine it replaces.
Emissions from the new 2.0 DDiS diesel engine are reduced by 18 per cent over the current engine, dropping it from 174g/km to 143g/km.
Styling changes include a new design of front bumper/grille, front and rear skid plates, a new instrument cluster and information display and a new control panel for the climate control system.
