Formula One world championship leader Jenson Button will be in Birmingham tomorrow as part of Bridgestone’s Driving Nation roadshow
The event has been set up to allow motorists to air their opinions on what pressures they are currently facing, what drives them mad about motoring today, and what they believe the future holds for motoring in the UK.
Andy Dingley, promotions manager of Bridgestone, said: "We know that motorists are currently facing some of the biggest challenges ever. From the increasing cost of fuel, to environmental concerns over CO2 emissions, to the misery of congestion, sadly it seems that we have forgotten the pleasure of driving and the sheer unadulterated joy of getting behind the wheel.
"What better way to kick off our campaign than with the driver who quite simply has kept us glued to our TV sets over the last five months and has truly come into his own over this F1 season."
The event, which will be held in Birmingham’s Centenary Square from 10am until 4pm, will also promote greener driving, and highlight several Bridgestone products to this end.
