This is the Great Wall Hover H7, one of the more strikingly styled 4x4s at the Shanghai motor show.
The car, which previews the replacement for the best-selling current generation Hover, stands out for its faux Audi grille, which sits below a chrome face and substantial air intake, to give the car a particularly arresting appearance.
The sides are notable for the transparent section, which links across the front and rear doors. This is Great Wall's way of demonstrating the spaciousness of the vehicle's interior, and is not expected to make production.
The concept has four-wheel drive, is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The car has a top speed of 140mph.
Great Wall is reportedly keen to market the H7 as a luxury 4x4 and then launch other Hover spin-offs, including an H3 baby SUV that would use a small, clean engine.
No date has been given for when the H7 will make production.
