Concept-inspired style pack set for latest Seat Ibiza Cupra

Seat will unveil a production version of the Bocanegra concept, based on the Ibiza Cupra, at the Barcelona motor show this May.

Inspired by the Seat Bocanegra concept from the 2008 Geneva show, the Ibiza Bocanegra will be based on the new 178bhp 1.4 TSI Cupra model, but will add the striking black grille that dominated the concept car.

Seat has yet to confirm whether the production car – essentially a styling pack – will retain the Bocanegra name, or whether there will be any other elements to the style pack other than the solid black nose, but expect sales to begin later this year after the regular Ibiza Cupra goes into production this July.
