Here’s how to rip your new Toyota Prius’s green credentials to shreds: get it pimped.
One unnamed but well-off buyer at a London Toyota dealer has done just that.
The buyer had their new hybrid resprayed in Brechin Slate metallic – a shade normally only available on Lexus models – and doubtless releasing all kind of noxious fumes in the process.
Clearly that wouldn’t do without a complete re-upholstering of the car in soft leather. And, of course, no pimped ride is complete without some stylish rims, in this case some stainless steel Fox items.
Total cost? £32,900, which is £12,220 more than a standard top-spec Prius and less than six grand shy of the cost of a new Lexus GS 450h hybrid.
