Toyota has spruced up its range for summer with some special-edition models - the modestly-named Land Cruiser Invincible, Aygo Black and Yaris Ion.
The Land Cruiser's power is up from 164bhp to 201bhp and torque from 302lb ft to 346lb ft. That takes the 0-60mph time down to 10.8 sec (from 11.2sec) but leaves the top speed, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions unchanged.
Completing its invincibility is tinted rear glass and Invincible badging. A limited run of 500 will be sold, each priced at £34,565, which is £650 more than the LC4 on which it is based.
The Aygo Black will be £7,730 on the road in cheapest form with metallic black paint, eight-spoke alloys, a six speaker iPod-compatible sound system and leather gear knob - for £500 over the Aygo +.
The Yaris Ion is simply a re-badging of a T2 and so has sliding rear seats, a CD player and electric mirrors and front windows for £7,995 as a 1.0-litre three-door.
