Mercedes has launched a special edition of its A-class which can be combined with the 150, 170 and 200 petrol models and the 160 and 180 CDIs and is based on its Classic SE specification.
You also get the choice of three or five doors and manual or automatic transmission. There are three colour options, two of which are new - including the 'Mistral Blue' pictured here.
The other changes are that 16-inch alloys come as standard, as does new cloth upholstery, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights and leather on the steering wheel, gear shift and handbrake.
And the price for all this? The three-door 150 petrol costs £14,490 on the road, rising through £15,275 for the 160 CDI three-door to £17,295 for the five-door 180 CDI. Mercedes claims there is £1400 of extra equipment on the special edition, though these prices are all around only £500 over the Classic SE price.
